Ours started in a small workshop in Cairo — with a single piece of leather, a set of worn-down tools, and a belief that everyday pieces should feel personal, not mass-produced.

Derí was born from simplicity:

Leather has always been part of our family’s rhythm.

We grew up watching bags being sketched, cut, stitched, and polished by hand. No shortcuts, no machines replacing craftsmanship — just hours of patience and devotion.

Derí is our way of preserving that legacy.

We use full-grain Egyptian leather, chosen for its natural character and long-lasting strength.

Our hardware is hand-selected brass.

Our linings are carefully chosen to complement the warmth of the leather.

We sketch → cut → shape → stitch → finish → inspect → align → release.
